Perfect for activating dehydrated milk and water kefir grains to ferment milk and water kefir. Fitted for a wide mouth canning jar, this unique 2-piece design makes it so you can twist open to allow airflow during the activation and fermentation period and then close it for movement and storage. A strainer lid for pouring and measuring cap is included in the design, too.

Get a healthy dose of probiotics and other healthy bacteria by way of different milks, such as cows milk or coconut milk. For fermenting water kefir, use a simple sugar-water solution or coconut water.
