The Stitchery - Organic Cotton Reusable Coffee Filters

Have you ever tried a reusable coffee filter?  

Made from organic cotton and available in basket or cone shape, these are no more difficult to use than the typical one-use disposable types of filters, but with a much better environmental footprint.

As a daily use item, this is a great way to make an immediate impact in your household waste and budget.

Use the same way you would paper coffee filters. Once used, tip the grounds into the compost, or collect to use for your plants! Rise or wash the filter and hang to dry, and after 3 or 4 uses, machine wash on cool and lay flat to dry.

The fabric is an organic, unbleached cotton. Over time the fabric will become dyed a darker colour from the coffee - this is totally normal.

Care instructions: Rinse your reusable coffee filter after each use with hot water. For deep cleaning, let soak for 5 to 10 minutes into a solution of 1 teaspoon baking soda in a bowl of boiled water once every two weeks. Rinse well and hang to dry. Periodically, once every 6-8 weeks boil filters in fresh water for 10 minutes to remove accumulated coffee oils.
